As it turns out, the Roberts family had already been part of Daniel's life before he ever picked up a tool. Matt's mother was Daniel's sixth grade English teacher — but it was the following year, in Mr. Roberts' shop class, that something clicked. Daniel spent the next two years in that classroom, and stayed after school for the industrial tech club and competitions that Mr. Roberts ran. Safety first. Do it right the first time. No shortcuts. That's how Mr. Roberts ran his program — and those lessons never left.
Safety first. Do it right the first time. No shortcuts.
Between us, we bring more than 40 years of hands-on pool industry experience to every project. Matt got his start at only 15, picking up part-time work as a pool cleaner. He left to serve six years in the United States Navy, and when he came home he came straight back to the industry. What followed was a career built one skill at a time — from cleaning to repairs, repairs to remodeling, and eventually into construction management and specialist roles at some of Houston's top pool companies. Daniel's path covered over two decades across nearly every corner of the business — from retail and service to construction, and more than a decade in wholesale distribution, before returning to the field focused on complex repairs and remodels. Both have been members of IPSSA (Independent Pool and Spa Service Association) and PHTA (Pool & Hot Tub Alliance) — industry organizations that reflect a shared commitment to doing this right, and ones that brought us into the same rooms long before we ever went into business together.
Right people. Right time. Right purpose.
It was through that world — shared job sites, industry organizations, and a web of mutual contacts — that our paths finally crossed about a decade ago. The Roberts family connection was already there in the background, but it was the industry itself that brought us together. And the more time we spent comparing notes on everything being done wrong out there, the more inevitable the rest became.
